I’m sharing some DIY Place Cards I made for Crafts Unleashed. This was such a simple project and I had it done in no time!
I am so excited to get started on spring crafts around here. Every year I have a BIG Easter party for my family and friends. It’s a day we can all enjoy together and it’s become a fun tradition for us. We always set up a beautiful tablescape. This year I really wanted to make some pretty Easter DIY Place Cards for the adult table.
I think it will be an extra touch and really finish off the look I’m going for. So of course I thought of using some birds nests for this project. They turned out fabulous!!
DIY PLACE CARDS
I gathered up all my supplies to get started on this craft!
Step 1 – Spray Paint Nests
I used some copper spray paint and painted both sides of all the nests. Let dry 25 minutes.
After they were dry I went over lightly with some glitter spray. Gotta add some sparkle right?!!
Step 2 – Add Your Eggs
After the glitter spray has dried, you can add your eggs. I used a low temp glue gun to help keep the eggs in place.
Step 3 – Add Place Card Picks
Now it’s time to add the place card picks. These were a little longer then I wanted, so I used some wire cutters to cut to the size needed.
I added some hot glue in between the eggs and firmly placed the picks inside. To make sure they stay straight hold the picks until the hot glue has dried.
See how perfect these Easter place settings turned out!! Such a fast craft to get done in a day.
I really think it gives it an elegant touch that I wanted. This is also a perfect craft if you’re having a big place setting for Easter dinner or brunch.
Now that I got these made it’s one less thing I have to do for our Easter party! These would also be perfect for a spring brunch as well.
You can easily change the paint color for a new look and add some flowers in the center, maybe a mini succulent??
I loved the idea of making DIY Place Card holders so I made some “Faux” Concrete Eggs Place Card Holders over at the Make it Fun Blog.
