I am part of the DecoArt core blogger team for 2017-2018. This post and paint is sponsored by DecoArt, but all opinions, ideas and creative inspo are from me.
As you all know I’m apart of the core blogger team for DecoArt. Every month we have a fun challenge to create a project using a DecoArt product. This month we had a great opportunity to team up with Cricut to create a unique Christmas project for the house. I was super excited because I was able to use their new Cricut Maker AND EasyPress! I can’t tell you how excited I was to try these two machines out.
Since this new Cricut machine has all these amazing new tricks like cutting felt, I knew right away what I wanted to make… A Coastal DIY Pillow for Christmas using some fantastic sparkly felt I found at Hobby Lobby
My new Cricut Maker!! Wow this machine is AMAZING!
It cut through the sparkly felt with no problem!
I have never made a DIY Pillow before, this is actually my first pillow project EVER. So I was really pumped to get started on it.
I can’t tell you how happy I am with this pillow. I can’t wait to make some more coastal pillows for the house this Christmas. As you know I’m all about a Coastal Christmas. Last year I did my very first coastal christmas in the house and loved it!. So this year I needed to add some more coastal Christmas accents to the house.
Make sure to stop over at the DecoArt blog for full details on how to make your own Coastal DIY Pillow for Christmas on November 10th!
