Hello everyone!! It’s almost FRIDAY, woohoo! Today I’m sharing a project that just kinda came out of nowhere. A simple faux succulent Driftwood Planter. My neighbor stopped by the other morning and brought me this piece of driftwood he found while fishing! I LOVED it, I knew right away what I wanted to do with it. It’s a project that I’ve seen and even pinned before. So why not give it a try and make a quick post.
Last year I made this Seashell Succulent Planter and it’s been a staple with my decorating. So I know that I will get a lot of great decorating inspiration with this driftwood planter.
Supplies Needed
- Piece of Driftwood
- Faux Succulent
- Low Temp Glue Gun
DRIFTWOOD PLANTER
Look a this piece of driftwood, it’s beautiful right?! Perfect centerpiece for a coastal table setting.
I didn’t take any step pictures with this, because it’s too simple. I cut the ends off these faux succulents with wire cutters. Then used some heavy duty hot glue to keep in place. I just placed them around the piece of driftwood until I was happy with the results.
Now that’s great for a Summer Table setting, with a touch of coastal right?! It took about 5 minutes to make this Simple Driftwood Planter for the table!
Add some shells to the table and fresh flowers and your set. I posted on my Instagram account these beautiful hydrangeas my Mother cut from her garden for me. SO I had to make a table setting with them.
Hello Summer!!
Of course I had to snag a quick pic of myself with my table setting! This girl is SOOO happy it’s Summer and ready to start entertaining.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my driftwood planter. I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy your Summer!
