I got these cute Teepee shelves in the mail recently from Walnut Hollow and as soon as I seen them I knew they would make a great Craft Paint Storage solution in my craft room! I tested them out and they held 51 bottles, that saves a lot of space and looks great in the craft room.
I tried it all natural at first, but then I thought it needed some color added to it. I still loved the color of the wood so I decided to add a little “POP” of color in the front. So I went through my paint stash, as you can tell I have a TON and picked out my favorite colors.
CRAFT PAINT STORAGE
Step 1 – Tape off Front
I only needed to tape off the inside and outside of the shelf for this project.
Step 2 – Paint Time
Now it’s time to paint, yay the fun part. Since the wood is a pretty light color I only needed to add one coat of paint for this step.
I chose my FAVORITE color Coral of course. I’ve done several projects using this color, it’s perfect!
After the paint has dried, just pull your painters tape up!
Voila!!! A nice and simple POP of color.
Here’s some of my paints I pulled out for this project.
Now it’s time to add your paint and display. Like I said before I was able to get 51 bottles in this. That’s saves a lot of room and looks pretty too!
Here’s one on a shelf in my craft room. I’ve been working on it, trying to get organized and give it a new look. I have some fun new stuff coming in the mail that will help with that. I can’t wait to do a room reveal. (if I can keep the craft room/my office clean long enough).
I received two, so the second one I added some of the Sea Breeze paint color.
These teepee shelves were the perfect craft paint storage that this room needed. I was using an Ikea storage cart, but now I can add some of my large paint bottles in those.
