Today I’m going to show you how to make a DIY Bubble Wands for your Summer Camp kids! What I love about this, it’s such an easy Kids project for the kids to work on and have fun together with after. Plus the best part, you only need a couple supplies to make them!
After the kids are done, you can either have them make their own bubbles or create a bubble station. I have directions to make your own bubbles at the end of the post or you can purchase already made bubbles.
Let’s get started!
DIY Bubble Wand Supplies Needed:
Step 1 – Make your Base
Have the kids place the two ends of a pipe cleaner together and twist the bottoms together, leaving the top in whatever shape they want.
I really liked the pattern on these pipe cleaners.
Step 2 – Add your Beads
Now it’s time to add their beads! I would have a TON of bead options available for the kids to pick from. They can get pretty creative with their bead choices.
Step 3 – Secure the End
Once their done adding their beads make sure to bend the wire over as best as you can to keep the beads from falling off. You might need to help them with this step if they are younger children. If you have camp helpers this is a good part to have them assist the kids with.
Now the kids can go out and have some fun with bubbles! Make sure to have lots of Bubble Wand examples on the tables to give the kids ideas.
They will be so excited to play with their bubble wands once their finished.
Here’s the directions to make your own bubbles:
- 2 cups very warm water
- ¾ cup Dawn dishwashing detergent
- 2 T. light Corn Syrup
As always thanks for stopping by, if you have any Summer Camp or VBS questions or need tips, I’m your girl. Shoot me a message and I’ll help any way I can!
