DIY Colorful Clothespin Airplane Craft

Want to try your hand at creating a colorful clothespin airplane craft with your little ones? These painted airplanes let’s them get as creative as they want!

This project was such a fun one to do because once we assembled all the airplanes, we could play with them together after! These kinds of kids crafts are always my favorite.

Step 1 – Paint Popsicle Sticks

Since I was able to find the multicolored clothespins all I needed to paint was the popsicle sticks and wooden beads!  Two coats were all I needed, letting each coat dry 5 minutes.

I made sure to pick out some bright colors for this project.  The Americana Satin paint was great to use, it gave the planes a little shine.
