So…while I was browsing Pinterest for some Easter inspiration, I found these cute painted egg cartons from Design Mom. I HAD to make some, they were just too cute!
I thought they would be perfect to have decorative egg carton craft for an Easter party or even pass them out as GIFTS with goodies inside.
Getting Started
I already had all the supplies on hand. Sometimes it really helps that I’m a craft supply hoarder because I had a TON of egg cartons in the garage.
I grabbed some washi tape and white paint to get READY!
Step 1 – Paint Your Egg Carton
Paint on 2 layers of white paint on the OUTSIDE of your egg carton. Let paint dry for an hour.
Quick Tip: You could spray paint the egg cartons and it would go by A LOT faster. I just didn’t have any on hand.
Step 2 – Add Your Washi Tape
I picked out some of my favorite pattens and added the THICKER washi tape to the top and the thinner tape on the sides.
See…SUPER EASY!!
Step 3 – Finishing Touches
Voila, there you have it! Now, I just need to add my eggs and I’m all SET.
Side Note: Want to give your kids a fun Easter craft to make? They’ll hop all over for these stylish gingham print TP roll Easter bunnies!
I just think the decorative Easter egg cartons turned out super cute. I can’t wait to display these and add special goodies INSIDE!
I knew when I SAW the original idea, that I just had to make some. I’m so glad I did.
