Dot Art for Kids

Making Dot Art is a fun, interactive art project for kids of all ages.  My kids have been wanting to try this art project for awhile now so we were super excited to get started.  We loved going through all our paints and picking out the best colors for each kid to use.

It’s a very easy setup, all you need is paint, Q-tips and canvas!  Perfect to do with a large or small group of kids.

Step 1 – Pick out Your Colors

This color pack had some cool neon colors that we liked a lot.

Step 2 – Grab a handful of Q-Tips

We just used a pack we got from the Dollar Tree.

Step 3 – Get Creative!

You can draw a picture out or free style it!  Whatever your little artist wants to do.

They all loved it and had fun coming up with ideas.  We used basic cardstock for our project at home.  But if you want to make it feel  more special you can use canvas.  Let them feel like a real artist!
