Before starting this project, you’ll need the following materials:
I know two posts in one week, I can’t believe it either. But I had to share this super quick decorating idea I just did.
Galvanized Decor is so popular right now. I recently went to Michaels and they have a huge section of it. I wanted EVERYTHING, but budget wise it probably wasn’t the best idea. But after I left Michaels, I made a quick stop at the Dollar Tree and found these pretty awesome galvanized pots. They are perfect for Spring decorating and a great deal.
I even wrote a quick post with all the great Dollar Tree Finds, I found that day! But these were my favorite find of the day for sure.
Here’s a quick look at my basket!! So many goodies.
My hubby bought me a beautiful orchid for Valentines day. But is just came with a basic plastic pot. So I pulled out this galvanized pot I got and it fit in perfectly! I left the orchid in the plastic pot still and just placed it on the galvanized pot.
I know Galvanized decor, feels more farmhouse style. But I really try to fit it into my coastal decor style. I think a lot of the farmhouse style can fit into coastal decor. They do have a lot of similarities to me.
In my den area I even added the galvanized pot to another smaller plant. They just look so pretty, right?!?
This is a perfect look for Spring decorating don’t you agree? I need to make a beautiful spring mantle now, using a couple of these pots. Maybe add some tulips or some of those faux Ikea plants.
Looking for another galvanized decor idea? Then check out this DIY Flower Bucket from the Darice Blog. Not all Dollar Trees carry the same items, so this would be another great DIY option.
