Hi everyone!! I’m sharing a new project I made over at the DecoArt blog. It’s September, so what does that means…. Time to start decorating for Fall of course! pumpkins, Pumpkins and more PUMPKINS! With any change of season, I love incorporating coastal touches into my holiday decor.
As you all know I’m apart of the core blogger team for DecoArt. Every month we have a fun challenge to create a project using a DecoArt product. This month our challenge was doing a Fall project using their texture paint.
So I decided to give a large vase I found at Goodwill for $5.00 a makeover using the textured paint. I decided on using the champagne colored textured paint, because I knew it would fit in best with my Fall color scheme, but also anytime of the year.
So let’s get started!
Items needed:
- Americana Decor Texture 8oz – Champagne
- Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint 8oz – Whisper
- Small palette knife
- Paintbrush
Fall Textured Vase Makeover
I can’t believe I was able to give this $5.00 vase such a beautiful makeover. It fits in perfectly with my coastal Fall decor I have going on.
I just love how the feel of this wall turned out with the Fall touches! I’ve been working on it for awhile and it’s finally complete.
So make sure to head over to the DecoArt blog and see the full tutorial and how easy it was to do!
Last year I made a Fall Sign using the textured paint as well. One of my friends loved it so much when she came over for coffee and mommy time, I ended up just giving it to her! She gets a lot of my projects I work on for the house. Not only do you get to hang out at my house, but you leave with a gift, lol. That’s a good friend!
As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
Love, Courtney
