Today I’m sharing a new post I made over at the DecoArt blog, a Mermaid craft! I’ve never done a mermaid craft before so I was really excited to make a Mermaid Inspired Wreath.
I’m at it again with another fun project using the Galaxy Glitter! I’ve created a couple of projects using this Galaxy Glitter and I’m really liking the results with this. For today’s project, I really wanted to create a Mermaid Inspired Wreath, but I didn’t want to be so literal with the mermaid embellishments so I went with some shells and classic mermaid color scheme.
As you all know I’m apart of the core blogger team for DecoArt. Every month we have a fun challenge to create a project using a DecoArt product. This month our challenge was using any of the Galaxy Glitter Paints for a Summer project.
Let’s get started.

Make sure to head over and see the full tutorial on the DecoArt blog. They have lots of other great ideas using the galaxy glitter paint.
I think this would be a fun project to make for around the pool or if you’re having a mermaid themed party for the kids this Summer! Just the glittered painted wooden shells would look great scattered around the party tables for extra tabletop decor.

As always thanks for stopping by, I hope this mermaid craft inspires you to create one of your own this Summer! I found all my wood supplies on the Darice blog.
