Create Your Own Haunted Halloween Potion Bottles

DIY Halloween potion bottles

I found my inspiration for these Halloween Potion Bottles on Pinterest. I have seen so many ideas on there.

I thought they would look great displayed in my new china cabinet (I was very happy with the results). These bottles were so easy to make. Gotta love that!!

Getting Started

You can use any type of bottles you want. I found my bottles at Michaels and they already had the cork at the top. These little bottles were only $1.00 each (right in my price range).

I got these great Halloween stampers at Wal-Mart for $1.00 each as well!!

Haunted Halloween Potion Bottles: Getting Started

Step 1 – Paint Your Bottles

I have just fell in love with spray paint. Where has it been all my life, right? I have been painting everything by hand and it’s so much easier and faster just to use a can of spray paint.

I used white matte spray paint and only went over the bottles lightly once. I let dry for half and hour.

Step 2 – Stamp Your Bottles

I just used black ink and stamped my images on the bottles. I already had font stampers and added the names for my potions. Since I have kids, I wanted my displays to be playful and I thought these stamps did just that!!

Step 3 – Finishing Touches

Once I was done, I was ready to display in my china cabinet. I added a couple other jars to my display. I was able to find the eyeballs and large vases at the Dollar Tree.

I was able to make these potion bottles pretty easily. I just think they are so cute and look great in the china cabinet.

I have found that the Dollar Tree is a great way to decorate for the holidays on a budget. It has become one of my new favorite stores.

I’m really excited about how my potions bottles turned out. They look great! My favorite part they were so simple to make and very inexpensive!

Two of my favorite things when decorating!
