I’m pretty excited, two Fall kids crafts in one week!! We did leaf stamping last year but I didn’t get any pictures of it so I wanted to try it again. Plus, we had left over paint from the handprint turkeys we did earlier and I wanted to make good use of it!!
This was a perfect how-to craft for my 5 year old, and he had a lot of fun doing it.
Getting Started
I had my son run out to the backyard and grab a ton of leaves for this craft. And, using the left over tempra paint from the craft we did earlier.
Step 1 – Paint Your Leaves
My son painted each of his leaves. Making sure to cover the entire leaf. He was very serious about his leaf painting!!
Step 2 – Stamp Your Leaves
We laid all our leaves on the paper and gently pressed each one of them down. Once we were confident that they were completely stamped, we pulled them all up. Voila!! A perfect leaf stamp!
Step 3 – Finishing Touches
Once we stamped our leaves, we let dry for about 15 minutes. This was such a quick and easy project to do!
My little guy had such a great time. This is a great craft to do with your little ones. As you can see my from little guys face he loved it!!
