I’m teaming up with my #Creativebuzz girls with a Christmas ornament challenge. I’m working on a new theme for my Christmas decor this year and I’m starting off by making some easy nautical ornaments for my Christmas tree in the Kitchen.
I’ve already posted my DIY Starfish Ornament and I still have a couple more that I’m working on. I can’t wait to finish them up!! I’m so excited to start putting up all my Christmas decorations. Right now I have a mix of Fall and Christmas decorations up. It’s Fall-mas in the house right now!
Were in a new house this year (just moved to North Carolina in May) and it’s already getting cold. Totally different feeling then when we lived in Florida.
The boys are excited, were actually going to see snow this year. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen snow. I’ve lived in Florida my entire life so I’m adjusting to this cold weather.
Ok, back to the project. I created these simple ornaments using some Mod Podge and clear ornaments I got from the Dollar Tree. I finished off by spray painting the top of the ornaments gold.
I used the coastal themed scrapbook paper I got from Hobby Lobby, $20.00 for the pack but of course I used my “Handy Dandy” 40% coupon. I have used this scrapbook paper for several projects. My most popular was the Coastal Fall Mod Podge Pumpkins I did for my Fall Home Tour.
Now it’s time to get started on my Coastal Christmas!! Besides the ornaments, I’ve also made a Noel Sign this year. A pretty cool Pottery Barn Kids Knock off.
I’m really excited with how these ornaments turned out. I will be creating a full tutorial with step by step pictures. But those ornaments will be more of a beach theme. I can’t wait to show you!!
Make sure to stop by all these other amazing #Creativebuzz girls and see their great ornaments!!
