I am SO excited to show off my coastal Christmas tree with everyone. I started working on my coastal tree a couple years ago. But when Treetopia contacted me about working on a campaign, I knew right away what I wanted to do. A full on coastal tree.
We moved from Florida to North Carolina over two years ago. It was a big change for us, moving from the city (Tampa) to the country. So We decided we were going to bring a little of the coast to our Christmas tree. We started off only making some starfish ornaments, but over the years we got little by little.
We even made some ornaments using sand and shells we saved from our favorite beach (Sand Key Beach). So every year we like to get new coastal ornaments to go on our tree. It’s become a tradition for us. Just a little way to remember Florida.
I picked out the beautiful Snowy Spruce Flocked Christmas Tree! And I seriously love it. I have wanted a snow covered tree for awhile now. It’s just brightens up the room when you walk in.
The tree looks so beautiful when you walk into the room at night.
I am so pleased with how everything turned out. If you know me and follow my blog, then you know this is the perfect tree for my house. I’m all about coastal decor. I’m thinking I might keep this tree up a little past January.
Make sure to stop by and see all these amazing trees from the Design Council 2016!
