I finally got all my Halloween decor up and can’t wait to share it!!
This is a pretty exciting year for me. I have my blog up so not only do I get to share with my friends, I get to share with you guys as well!
One of the main things I’m all about with my decorating is, decorating on a budget. You’ll notice that I make most of my decorations and have even got some from the Dollar Tree.
Decorating on a budget is my motto!!
…not only do I get to share with my friends, I get to share with you guys…
This is my second home decor post I’ve done. My first one was my Summer Beach decor inspiration.
I decorate three areas of the house, my front entrance, china cabinet and entertainment center. I add a few things here and there throughout my house, but these are the main spots.
Front Entrance Wall
With this area, I really wanted the focus to be “Wicked” inspired (starting with my Wicked wall frame). I’ve read the books and this year my husband took me to see the musical!
After that, I knew I wanted to do an area in the house based on it. Halloween is perfect for that! I don’t know if I’ll want to take it down :)
I added a couple other items I made myself (like the washi tape frame and thumbtack pumpkins). I really think it finishes the area off. I love that pumpkin with the witch’s hat!
China Cabinet
My china cabinet is one of my favorite places to decorate. I have that BIG space on top and all the shelves inside. I can get real creative with this area!
I was able to use a lot of stuff I made last year (like my Mod Podge pumpkins, thumbtack pumpkins and potion bottles). I was even able to reuse those Halloween serving trays I made from last years entrance wall display!!
Entertainment Center
I love decorating over our entertainment center. That’s where we sit, watch movies and relax as a family. It’s really nice to look up there and see all my Halloween decorations.
I love the pallet I added. It worked out great for my beach theme decor, and it works PERFECT for Halloween. Gives it a “spooky” look!
Plus, the silhouette frames I made last year are a nice touch :)
This Halloween was a lot of fun to decorate for! I used a lot of my signature polka dots.
I hope I’ve given everyone a lot of great ideas and inspiration. And…to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to decorate for the season.
Make sure you like me on Facebook to keep posted for my Fall decor post!!
