Good morning everyone! I’m so excited to share this Shoe Makeover with you! This is a project I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now, especially during the holidays. I just never had time. Sooo here it goes.
I originally planned on doing this project on a pair of heels, but I found these leopard shoes in the clearance section at Wal-Mart ($3.00). I’ve bought several pairs of these Wal-Mart shoes over the years and I just love them. So I thought why not take them to the next level and give them a cute chic makeover.
Let’s get started!
Shoe Makeover Supplies Needed:
- Shoes
- Jewelry Wire Cutters
- Krazy Glue or E600 Glue
- Clip on Earring
- Jewelry Making Pendant
Step 1 – Find Shoe
Like I said I found these shoes at Wal-Mart, they pretty much have this style shoe all the time. I’ve gotten several different patterns in this style, but you can grab a shoe you already have or go buy a new pair. These shoes cost about $5.98.
Step 2 – Pick out Pendant
Find your Pendant. Since I’m a contributor over at the Darice blog I found this pendant and many more styles of their site. But you can grab some at any craft store in your area.
Step 3 – Cut Excess off Pendant
Since this pendant is usually used to make jewelry I had to cut the little hooks off with a wire cutter.
Step 4 – Glue Pendant to Earring Clip
Now it’s time to add your glue, I had some Krazy glue on hand to use for this project.
I dabbed a little Krazy glue on the back of the pendant and placed the earring clip on top. I waited two minutes to let it dry fully, then I went around the edges with more Krazy glue.
Step 5 – Add Your Clip On
Once everything has dried fully you can add it to your shoes!
This is a cute look your can add to any flat shoe or heel. Create different looks with different pendants. I plan on making a couple different styles.
This is a perfect shoe makeover you can make for anytime of the year. I see this idea for prom, weddings, or even girls night! The possibilities are endless!
Damask Love created another chic shoe makeover with some DIY pom pom balls and heels!
Thanks for stopping by, he’s another project I made using the same jewelry pendant.
