I wanted to share a super easy DIY dinosaur necklace I made with my kids this week. This was such a fun and simple craft you guys can work on together. If you don’t want to use a dinosaur then you can use any kind of small plastic animals. I think if I could have found a small unicorn that would have been a fun option as well.
They turned out super cute and look awesome as a necklace or even a keychain! I have to try the keychain project next for sure.
I did a Dinosaur Party for my son a couple years ago, this would have been a perfect kids craft to make then.
DIY DINOSAUR NECKLACE SUPPLIES:
Step 1.
We started off by adding the hooks to the top of the dinosaurs. Since these dinosaurs are plastic the hooks went in super easy. Even a younger kid could do this step!
Step 2.
You can pick out whatever kind of string you want for your necklace, sueded cording, hemp cord, or even a ball chain necklace!
Step 3.
Cut string to about 12 inches long. Thread through the screw eyes on the dinosaur, add wooden beads. Then tie a knot at the end of the string and you’re all set
See what a quick project this DIY dinosaur necklace is! Super cool right?!
I really think this is a cool kids craft for a boy or girl. I know my son enjoyed wearing his around all week!
