Before starting this project, you’ll need the following materials:
I am really EXCITED to start decorating for Fall this year. I’m participating in a Fall home tour blog hop at the end of the month so I decided I wanted to change my Fall style up this year.
I’ve been going for a more beach/coastal look with the house, so OF COURSE I had to do a Fall beach/coastal theme. Only makes sense, right?!?!
I really haven’t seen too many coastal Fall decor themes. One that DID catch my eye were these coastal pumpkins from Sand and Sisal that I just adore. I wanted have some pumpkins match my theme, but really wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do.
On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby I found these great packs of scrapbook paper. I did this coastal lobster art using it, but I still had a TON left over. So I thought why not make some more Mod Podge Pumpkins.
Last year I posted an easy tutorial on how to make Mod Podge pumpkins. I LOVED how they turned out so much I think I ended up making 15 last year. This year I ended up making 5 more!!
This craft is so cool and it becomes pretty addicting!! As you can see from ALL my pumpkins.
I wanted to add a little touch of sparkle to the pumpkins so I decided to spray paint the tops with gold spray paint. I love how they turned out.
They turned out beyond my expectation! Plus I was super excited that I already had all the supplies on hand including the pumpkins.
Here are the pumpkins displayed on the top on the entertainment center. I can’t WAIT to show you the entire look, maybe next post….
I have a couple more Fall coastal theme projects coming up! Make sure to follow me on Facebook to get ALL my recent project updates!
